Police Log: One Arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute, Two Others for Possession

Notable entries from the Monday, Feb. 6, police log.

One Arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute, Two Others for Possession

6:53 p.m.—As the result of a traffic stop, two people were arrested for possession of Class D, and one was arrested for possession with intent to distribute. Police pulled a car over at South Street and Pineridge Road, and arrested Okazaki Andujar for possession of Class D with intent to distribute within 100 feet of a park. Also arrested were Robert M. Ryan, 19, of Reading, who is charged with possession of Class D, speeding and carrying a forged Rhode Island drivers license, and Joshua Dunn, 19, of Seabrook, N.H., who was arrested for possession of a Class D substance. All three were subsequently released on bail.

Police Log

8:19 a.m.—A two-car motor vehicle accident at Home Goods on Main Street with injuries was investigated by police.

9:59 a.m.—An officer on patrol was approached by a resident on Lewis Street who reported a bottle was thrown through his window early the previous morning. The resident stated he heard noises but didn’t notice anything until the morning. Police spoke with a neighbor, who didn’t see anything, and the resident requested extra checks of the area as he believes there are youths drinking in the woods.

3:27 p.m.—Police investigated a two-car crash at Lowell Street and Causeway Road, with no serious injuries.

6:22 p.m.—A complaint application was filed against Kimberly A. Richards, 31, of Woburn, for operating with revoked registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and an expired inspection sticker.

7:39 p.m.—A Burlington man reported his car was stolen from a lot on Lakeview Avenue. Officers investigated the matter and determined the car was an Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and had been repossessed for nonpayment.

8:05 p.m.—A Bay State Road resident reported the windshield of his vehicle had been smashed and the vehicle burned. Police investigated and discovered a small electrical fire was to blame and no vandalism had occurred.

11:40 p.m.—Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Mobil on West St., and discovered an elderly man, who was confused and had been exposed to the cold for several hours. Upon further investigation, police discovered the man was a missing person from Dorchester and he was transported to the police station to wait for his brother.
