12:42 a.m. An officer responded to an anonymous report of a loud house party at a Pine Ridge Road residence. Upon hearing the complaint, the homeowner sent everyone away.

12:50 a.m. An officer responded to a Green Street home that had dialed 911 and hung up twice. The officer found that a woman there had been having an argument with her parents. She agreed to leave for the evening.

1:13 a.m. An officer came upon a man walking in the street near the intersection of Main Street and Rocky Road. The man reported that he had left a friend’s house and was walking home.

9:00 a.m. The Department’s safety officer gave a presentation at the Reading Youth Leadership camp at Reading Memorial High School.

9:22 a.m. A Green Street resident reported that she returned home to find a flat screen TV, laptop, a gaming console, black luggage, a black safe, a passport, a green card, a birth cert and $380 cash missing from her apartment.

11:57 a.m. An officer responded to a report of a baby coyote in the road near the Charles Lawn Cemetery. The animal departed before the officer arrived.

12:40 p.m. The Reading Senior Center reported that one of its seniors hadn’t gotten on the bus to go home and was missing. She was later located in a card room.

12:44 p.m. An officer responded to a two-vehicle collision between a Woburn driver and a Medford driver near the Elite Freestyle Karate on Main Street. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and an officer gave one of the drivers a ride to the North Reading Post Office.

1:02 p.m. Police notified the Department of Public Works that overgrown bushes were blocking sight-lines on Main Street near its intersections with Pearl Street and Mill Street.

4:18 p.m. An officer spoke to two boys playing in front of a building under renovation on Washington Street and sent them away.

5:49 p.m. A Van Norden Road resident reported that someone stole his mailbox, with mail inside it.

6:08 p.m. An officer responded to a report of a “big black dog” loose near the intersection of West Street and County Road. The officer was unable to locate the animal.

7:30 p.m. A Terrace Park resident reported hearing glass breaking nearby. Two officers checked the area and found nothing disturbed.

9:16 p.m. An officer responded to the intersection of Woburn Street and High Street where the train gates became stuck in their downward position for 45 minutes.
